I've self-published for a very long time but am considering listing a few pieces with a commercial publisher.
Is there anything close to an industry-standard composer's share on sales and mechanical royalties? I feel like I should know this, but I don't.
(I actually care much more about distribution than about the tiny amount of money I make from sales and royalties, but, on the other hand, I don't want to be "taken," either.)
