Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I am pleased to invite you to the premiere of my song cycle, “Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Pigeon.” (Yes, you read that correctly. With no apologies whatsoever to Wallace Stevens.) The work was commissioned, and will be premiered by, soprano Nadine Earl Carey and the Prometheus Piano Quintet. Other works on the program will be the Debussy Violin Sonata and the Brahms C minor Quartet. Here are the details:
