Hello SCI -
Many of you may remember participating in the anonymous web survey several years back for my project "Quantifying MIDI Use for Instrumental Composers."
In this project I researched the use of MIDI samples and software to mock-up music during composition. The results were very compelling. Hopefully this project will spark more discussion on this contentious issue, especially in academia where there is still great distrust of the tools.
