Subject: SCImembers list protocol
dear Greg Bartholomew,
This sounds like a fine solution to an ongoing problem.
Of course, I would say "whom" .... "from," or "from whom the message ..."
Yes? Or?

Now that the SCI Members email list process no longer shows us who the message is coming from, I wonder whether the protocol for the moderator who approves each message before it is sent to the list might be modified to "bounce back" any message that does not identify the sender and advise the sender to re-send the message with the sender's identification in the message. Would this not be a good idea?

My new song cycle THE HOLY SONNETS OF JOHN DONNE will be premiered tomorrow night - Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 8:00 pm CST - at the University of Oklahoma School of Music. Full info: http://www.ou.edu/finearts/calendar.html#eventpath=/finearts/calendar/finearts_events/jcr:content/calendar/calendars/default/2014/11/15/joel_burcham_tenor
Tenor Joel Burcham commissioned the work, which sets the same nine sonnets set by Benjamin Britten in his cycle of the same name. Joel and pianist Elizabeth Avery will be performing the premiere.
In addition, Dr. David Anderson, OU Assistant Professor of Renaissance Literature, will speak on John Donne's work before the performance. After the performance, I will be joining the performers and Dr. Anderson for a Q&A with the audience.
If you're in the area, would love to see you...otherwise, the event will be live-streamed at:
