Subject: Concert of vocal music including music by Garth Baxter in Baltimore area November 2nd
My song Self Portrait at 44 (text by Linda Pastan) will be included in the program next Sunday (November 2nd) at the Chamber Music on the Hill concert by Soprano Laura Laura Dixon Strickling and Pianist Lisa Stepanova, Winners of the 2013 Liszt-Garrison International Competition. The concert will be held in the Forum in Decker College Center on the campus of McDaniel College at 7 PM. There will also be works by Liszt, Debussy, Chaminade and Rossini. This will be a wonderful concert. I invite those in the Baltimore/Washington area to attend. [...]
