Subject: Simultaneous submissions
Hi Jon,
I agree with Matthew, and would further add that there comes a point where we must bow to practicality. This is not to say that one couldn't create new works with certain submissions or ensembles in mind... If I want to submit to 10-20 competitions or awards, I'd love to write 10-20 pieces for them all, but most of the time it simply isn't possible to do it all at once, factoring in deadlines and whatnot.
