Dear fellow SCI members, With semesters winding down everywhere, I wish I had gotten this out a little sooner. I want to share with you a project I've been working on: a series of web videos that review topics in music theory. The intention is to review concepts in an entertaining way that reinforces those concepts for students, whether in a theory class or in a panic to review for placement or matriculation exams. The first video, reviewing the basics of Augmented Sixth Chords, is online at http://youtu.be/NiPU_suLjJw To keep things useful for a wider audience of students, I've tried to focus on using classic "textbook" terminology.
