The Women Composers Festival of Hartford has announced its 2015 festival scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, to Sunday, March 8, in addition to several calls for scores, paper presentations and more. The festival includes three days of concerts, workshops, and forums (Friday - Sunday) at the historic Charter Oak Cultural Center. Lisa Coons joins the festival as guest composer, featuring the Michigan-based composer in multiple events. Guest artists include Iktus Percussion and the New England Guitar Quartet. [...]
