I am pleased to post on youtube a performance featuring Dr Jacob Walburn, Lecturer of Trumpet and Jazz at University of Texas-Pan American, playing the first movement (Asubuhi) of "Safari ya Jua" for trumpet and orchestra. The piece was composed as part of the research done in Kenya as part of the Fulbright Scholar program, 2012-2013.
