Dear friends and colleagues,
There is still time to apply to the Sewanee Summer Music Festival!
In a nutshell, this year we will offer an immersive set of four relentless weeks for composers who will write and premiere new works for chamber ensembles and the Cumberland Orchestra.
Speaking of new music for orchestra, on the first week of the festival you will experience a world premiere and the Suite from Powder her face (2017) by Tomas Ades; on week two you will have the opportunity to meet JoAnn Falletta (new music champion and Grammy awardee!). [...]
