Hi all,
I just want to share a story about Ken and the only time I met him. He had a bassoon piece accepted for our Region VI conference last year at UT Arlington, and I experienced everything Dan and Gerald wrote below – his wife accompanied him, he was warm and generous, and connected very well with our bassoonist who performed the piece. I do believe he attended all nine (!) concerts. A sweet touch – the piece he submitted was handwritten, but it was done exquisitely.
