Subject: Hot off the Press Orchestra!!
Join the Jacksonville University Orchestra in the beautiful Terry Concert Hall for a celebration of new music that is “hot off the press!” Featured will be commissioned works by the Delius Composition Award winners for 2016 and 2017, JU alumni Anne McKennon's "Emergence" and Daniel Farrell's "Symphony No. 1 Fiat Lux". Also featured will be "Transposed Memories" by award-winning composer Dr. Piotr Szewczyk and the American premiere of "Sonata for Strings" by Jianjun He.
