Subject: Beo String Quartet premieres Or Be Forever Fallen
Thursday, November 16 at 7:30 pm, in the Anne and Ellen Fife Theatre of the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech, the Beo String Quartet will premiere my piece Or Be Forever Fallen, three movements for heavily processed amplified string quartet, interacting with animated sci-fi video by Zach Duer, projected behind the quartet. Here’s a trailer for the piece, with an excerpt of music from the first movement, I. Toil of Battle, and excerpts of videos from the three movements, including II. Wearied Virtue and III.
