I’ve worked closely with a number these composers and know that many of them have park-inspired pieces.
I’ve got two park-related pieces for flute as part of my own NPS series: Lechuguilla (for flute and clarinet) and The Ghosts of Mesa Verde (for flute duo). More details here: http://www.stephenlias.com/npsworks.
I lead a workshop for composers every summer in Denali National Park, so we have a sizable group of alumni now. I’ll forward your message on to all of them now.
