*Joint Return,” an original chamber opera by Martin Halpern, will be given a full production at the Penthouse II Theater, Shetler Studios, 244 West 54th Street in Manhattan, at 8 PM on April 27, 28 and 29.*
*The plot concerns a couple in their mid-forties, Ann and Ben, who meet to deal with their last tax returns before their no-fault divorce becomes finalized. In the course of the meeting, they re-live past events leading to their divorce, and face up to the different directions their futures must take. *
