** Quick Reminder About Harold Rosenbaum's 2017 Choir Tour to Vienna
** http://pix.eurovisionworld.com/pix/vienna_skyline.jpg ** It's never too early to start planning to join me on my 30th European choir tour, so here's a quick reminder! Sing Handel’s Messiah (parts 2 and 3) under the baton of the conductor of the Vienna Boy’s Choir in Haydn’s own church, St. Stephen’s in Vienna. Sing under my baton in another beautiful Vienna church. See cultural sites as well. Keep early July, 2017 (one year from now) open. Non-singers are welcome too. If you're interested, email me at haroldrosenbaum at gmail.com (mailto:haroldrosenbaum at gmail.com) and I'll send you information.
Sincerely, ** Harold Rosenbaum ** Testimonials about last Summer's trip to Vienna:
"The trip to Vienna with Harold under ACIS auspices was a great success. The group was companionable; our overall guide, Chris, was terrific; singing in the Annakirche under Harold’s direction was a great pleasure, and the "Sing mit" Creation was an absolute high point of my musical experience. Very highly recommended." - R.W.
"The Harold Rosenbaum Vienna Tour Choir was magical. To spend a week in the most musical city in the world and to sing Haydn’s powerful "The Creation" with an international choir in St. Stephansdom under the direction of Gerald Wirth, the conductor of the Vienna Boys’ Choir, was an incredible choir experience. We learned much about the life of Haydn, with our visits to the Esterhazy Palace, where the princes provided his patronage for over 40 years, to his birthplace and the church where he was music director. Our very kind and smart tour guide, Chris, was always there for us as were our fellow choristers from New York. I would not have missed this memorable trip that Harold put together. As Haydn said so often, "The Lord is great." Amen!" -- Lynn
"The combination of tours focusing on Haydn, the camaraderie of our group, and our wonderful concert at Vienna's DOM made for a great summer trip". – Ted
"Must thank you and Edie for a great Vienna Trip. You two made Vienna Sparkle. Haydn's Glorious "Creation," sung in the spectacular Stephendom with European Choruses that have sung the piece since childhood, was and is ever Thrilling beyond compare. As such our delightful Cambridge guide, Chris, led us about Vienna with great aplomb, and then as only you could do, you arranged that surprise, private visit to Schoenberg's Library and Archive that capped it all. Then where else would one want to sit and watch the world go by but at our Hotel's out-door cafe. On the beautiful Neue Markt Platz and surrounded by stunning architecture with a Fountain running through, the Hotel was a Charmer. Must Return!!" - Terry============================================================ ** Friend on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Canticum-Novum-Singers/351588082541) | ** Forward to a friend (http://us7.forward-to-friend.com/forward?u=8467a7ee190d236cb46028897&id=b7e0725a46&e=ddcd9142ff)
