** Announcing Lower Cost Alternatives from Virtuoso Choral Recordings VIRTUOSO CHAMBER CHOIR RECORDINGS
A Lower Cost Recording Initiative with Harold Rosenbaum and Members of The New York Virtuoso Singers
Thank you for your interest in recording with Virtuoso Chamber Choir Recordings. We are a program of Canticorum Virtuosi, Inc., a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1973 by Harold Rosenbaum, and a subsidiary of Virtuoso Choral Recordings (www.virtuosochoralrecordings.com (http://www.virtuosochoralrecordings.com/) ). We are offering a lower cost alternative for your chamber choir recording needs.
Virtuoso Chamber Choir Recordings was established for composers who wish to have their choral music recorded with one professional singer per part, up to 8 singers.
Pricing information will be sent on request. STAFF
Members of the all-professional New York Virtuoso Singers (www.nyvirtuoso.org (http://www.nyvirtuoso.org/) ) Dr. Harold Rosenbaum, Conductor (www.haroldrosenbaum.com (http://www.haroldrosenbaum.com/) ) Erik-Peter Mortensen, Recording Engineer (www.reverbnation.com/epmortensen) Nancy Wertsch, Choral Contractor (www.wertsch.com (http://www.wertsch.com/) )
FACTS
The final master will be completed in approximately 3-10 calendar days after the (final) recording session. You will receive a CD quality master wave stereo file available either by download or flash drive.
One hour of rehearsal and one hour in the recording studio is required for up to 5 minutes of music.
Rehearsals and recordings will take place either in the recording engineer’s studio in Yonkers, NY (just north of NYC) or in NYC. You are welcome to attend. After the recording session(s), the engineer will edit and then send the file to the conductor and composer for their comments and suggestions. At the next and final session, all suggestions will be incorporated, and the master will be complete. All efforts will be made to accommodate the availability of the composer for the recording and final editing session.
Two hours of rehearsing, followed by 2 hours in the recording studio, is the minimum we offer per day. If your music is between 5 and 10 minutes in length, the following are the costs. If your music is 5 minutes long or less, we will combine it with another composer’s music in a 2-hour recording session and you will pay ½ the cost.
Music up to 5 minutes in length will be priced as 5 minutes. Music from 5-10 minutes in length will be priced as 10 minutes, etc.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email Harold Rosenbaum at haroldrosenbaum at gmail.com (mailto:haroldrosenbaum at gmail.com) .
