Our students receive two credit hours for theory three days a week and one credit hour for ear training the other two days. Our load is supposed to include a combined calculation of clock and credit hours.

Three is standard faculty load everywhere I've ever taught theory that meets three times per week. I've seen some very creative "administrative math" done in an attempt to keep faculty off overload officially so they won't have to compensate them.
