Hi everyone!
The W. Francis McBeth Recital Hall at Ouachita Baptist University was recently renovated. There will be a commemorative recital tonight at 7:30pm CDT.
Francis McBeth (1933-2012) was composer-in-residence at Ouachita Baptist University, served as conductor of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, and was Arkansas’ composer laureate.
One of my works, Snoqualmie Passages for alto sax and piano, will be performed by OBU faculty members Caroline Taylor and Cai Lei.
