It's easy to forget (I just did!) that the listserve no longer automatically identifies who we are when we send an email. So, unless we wish to remain anonymous, it's necessary to include some sort of signature. I'd like to suggest that we also include our email address, so someone could reply directly without going through the list.

Right. And I have not been able to send individual Congrats to people because they do not put their e-mail address on the footer. I have been guilty too. [...]
