Subject: Need to replace wide-format printer. Advice?
Question to those with HP 5000/5100/5200 series printers. I’ve used a 5si printer for many, many years and it finally died. One of the things I loved about the 5si is that it goes into a quiet sleep mode. This is a godsend as it was in my studio area in the basement. I replaced it with an 8100, which I consider to be a dog… duplexing never worked properly, and when it is on, it always makes sound!
Question: Do the HP 5000/5100/5200 or other HP printers go into silent sleep mode?
